How To Take
Great Pet Pictures At Home

Always have your camera ready.

Remember to have fun and don't be in a rush. Patience is the most important element in a good pet photo.

The best possible lighting is achieved outside in natural light.

Avoid direct sunlight as this can alter natural contouring.

Take the photos on their level. This is best for full body shots, which look great from the side rather than above.

If your pet is generally happy, try to catch him/her doing their version of a smile.

Have their favorite treats available; hold them near the camera to catch interest in the right direction. It's okay to be silly and make funny noises or movements to get their attention.

Happy Shooting!

Please collar and tag your pet. The day they get lost is one day too late.
